The Farm Kitchen is all fired up. Our inaugural event was a luncheon featuring legs of lamb and shoulder of ranch-raised pork. Our guests loved the setting, which is outdoors in the midst of our new raised vegetable beds at the farm.
We couldn’t be more pleased with this new venue for cooking and dining. Our guests will now be able to experience breakfast al fresco and enjoy cocktail & hors d’oeuvres parties and dinners in the open air. We will also be doing cooking demonstrations in our new wood-fired hearth- and in-depth barbequing lessons using the meat basin & elemental methods. We are also excited to announce that we will have great beer on tap at the kitchen farm.
The farm kitchen will be in full swing for our upcoming two Harvest weeks, August 24- September 7th. Shorter stays are possible. During these weeks we’ll be packed with activities and special culinary events featuring Stranahan Whiskey, Odell’s Beer and other breweries, distillers, and great vintners like Sutcliff Winery. We are also inviting some great guest Chefs and food artisans. Expect plenty of live music as well. Please come and join us for an exciting farm to fork harvest experience at the farm – with mountain bike riding, barn dancing, fly fishing, horseback riding and whatever else we can dream up for fun.
