Columbine is our largest and most luxurious cabin and easily welcomes three couples or a family of 6-8 people. She is our Dowager Countess: tall, imposing, and impeccably turned out with handsome Arts and Crafts tiles and paneling, and a staircase copied from Stickley’s own. The ceilings are high, the proportions ample. It is a house, not a cabin. It features two stories, a spacious living room with a stone fireplace, and three bedrooms, each with its own bath. The master bedroom downstairs has a king bed and the bathroom has a steam shower. The front bedroom upstairs also has a king bed. The "kid's room" has two twin beds and the twin beds may be converted into one king bed if needed. There are breathtaking views of Sand Mountain from the upstairs front bedroom- and from the big wraparound porch- and there is a private Jacuzzi off the back deck amidst the Aspens with a spectacular view over the Elk River Valley. You will not forget the sunsets.
