Following dinner Sunday night, the children at The Home Ranch begin their week with a s’mores party around the campfire where they play name games, and become acquainted with each other as well as our stellar kid’s counselors. Monday after breakfast they play games and at 10 o’clock race to the barn for a short tutorial on riding, after which they are given their horse, which remains theirs for the entire week.
The rest of the week is up to the children to decide. We send rides out at 9AM and 2PM, but they may choose to engage in various other activities with their family or with the other children and our counselors. Family rides are also always an option, with the exception of Monday morning.
